1. Definitions

• JobButler A.I.: the mobile application and associated services, offered by Klaas van Raaij, based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
• User: the natural person who creates an account and uses JobButler.
• Services: all functionalities of the app, including job matching, CV analysis, CV builder, cover letter generator, interview trainer and job alerts.
• AI Features: features that use artificial intelligence to generate recommendations and content.

2. Applicability

These terms apply to all use of the JobButler app and website. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.

3. Account

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
• You may not share or transfer your account to others.
• You can delete your account at any time via the app (Profile → Delete account).

4. Use of the Services

JobButler is intended as a tool for job searching:

• AI features generate suggestions and drafts. You are responsible for reviewing and adjusting generated content before using it.
• JobButler is not an employment agency, staffing agency, or recruiter.
• Job listings are provided through external sources (including Adzuna). We are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of listings.
• You may not use the app for unlawful purposes, spam, or uploading harmful content.

5. AI-generated content

• AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies.
• You are responsible for the content you send to employers.
• JobButler does not guarantee that using AI-generated content will lead to employment.
• The AI does not make autonomous decisions about your applications — you are always in control.

6. Intellectual property

• The app, design and underlying software are the property of JobButler A.I.
• Content you create (CV data, texts) remains your property.
• AI-generated content based on your input may be freely used for personal job application purposes.

7. Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily interrupt the service for maintenance or updates.

8. Liability

• JobButler is a tool. We are not liable for decisions you make based on information or suggestions from the app.
• We are not liable for the accuracy of third-party job listing data.
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to JobButler in the past 12 months, with a maximum of €100.
• We are not liable for indirect damages, consequential damages or lost profits.

9. Pricing and payment

JobButler is currently available for free. If paid features are introduced in the future:

• Prices will be clearly communicated in advance.
• For subscriptions, you have a 14-day cooling-off period (right of withdrawal).
• You can cancel a subscription at any time via the app store (Apple/Google).
• Price changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance.

10. Termination

• You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes

We may modify these terms. For significant changes, we will inform you by email or an in-app notification. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam.
